Week 1 : Observating class

Hi,my dearest friends!

So.... For the first week i got observation of  all classes that taught by my cooperative teacher. 

But, first of all..This is me and cyntia with Mrs. Ruby, the principle of USJR Junior High School.

And, here what we are waiting for!!!!! My cooperating mentor, Mrs. Emelie Jacolbe. She teaches 4 classes,consisting of 2 girl's classes namely Our Lady of Consolation (OLCON) & Our Lady of Candelaria (OLCAN) . And also, 2 boy's classes namely St. Ezekiel & St. Nicholas. So do i who got observe and teach those classes.

So guys...

The students will do the flag ceremony first before they start the learning process,everyday.

Since this is the first week, so i still just observing the classes, and observing how my cooperating teacher teachin. I sat in the back to see the entire class and class activities during the lesson.

when i entered the class, I was very impressed with the Josenians. 

This is what Josenian do when the teachers just enter the class

• When the teacher enters the class, they all will stand up and greet the teacher like "Good afternoon Mrs. Jacolbe and Miss. Sheila". Honestly i was very touched at that time,because that was my first time i was considered as a teacher 😄,
•  then after that they will pray together in an orderly manner 
• and then, if the teacher does not order them to sit first they will not sit. Very well behaved, right?

from this a whole week, i really got a lot lesson from Mrs. Jacolbe about she teach the students.

so, let me show you how Mrs. Jacolbe manage the classes and how she teach the students😉

• Mrs. Jacolbe will do ice breaking if she sees the students little tired or the class not really conducive. They will dance

• Mrs. Jacolbe will discuss the previous subject from yesterday, to see the students really understand about the lesson.

• Giving some material from media, like a power point. And the students will analyze the material.
  
• Giving a chance to let the students ask their questions
• Explain the topic for today lesson, and after she explain that she will ask the students to know if they understand already or not.
• And after that,she will giving a task after the students found their group

  

  (their test about type of paragraphs)

• After the students done, she will ask and tell the students to review about the lesson
• And also, she will ask about the moral values that can be drawn from these lessons, and also can be applied for Josenian in daily life,
• And in the last minute, she will give the students assigment for the next meeting.
  

The way Mrs. Jacolbe managed the class is very calm, the thing that i learned from Mrs. Jacolbe is how she control emotions and also how to control students when noisy or not conducive. 

If the students are a bit noisy, she will say "water" and then the student who noisy will suddenly make a sound like water "Sssshhh", and then they will be conducive.

or, Mrs/ Jacolbe would be stand beside the student who talking while the learning process, or just look at them and stop a while for explain the lesson.

the students also, girls and boys they all so kind and so active while learning process. I am very happy when i see them that they really follow the learning process, they always excited and wants to know everything about the lesson. although sometimes there are some who still talk and play around in learning process, but when the teacher asks a question they can answer it. And when they are given the opportunity to ask some question, they always excited to ask the teacher.
